first impressions
⚜ First Impressions ⁕ VISUAL: Ris is small for her age, not even passing 5 feet without heels and rather thin. She is almost eerily pale, with a light dusting of freckles across her face and body. Her right eye is almost always covered, and her left eye is an unnatural, deep red. She has long, wavy, nearly-white hair that reaches down to her lower back. She has a softness to all of her features that makes her appear a bit doll-like. ⁕ FASHION: She tends to dress almost exclusively in lolita fashion, sticking more toward gothic or sailor lolita styles. She tends to stick to black, white, grey, and red as her primary colors. She does her hair almost exclusively with black ribbon, and favors thigh-high stockings. ⁕ DEMEANOUR: Ris is quiet, and could probably be described as a wallflower. She is someone who was raised to be seen and not heard, and lacking any other idea how to behave, she'll drop back into that habit. She always seems a bit melancholy, and very rarely raises her voice. She's capable of getting nervous and angry like anyone else, and she is one of these two things more often than not, but she tries her best to hide it behind a calm, composed demeanor and a smile. She'll keep her mask up for as long as she can, but don't take her placidity as an indication that she's a pushover. Now that no one "owns" her, she's more than happy to tell off anyone she thinks deserves it. ⁕ SOUND: Ris' voice is soft, a bit airy and high-pitched. She tends to keep her voice level, not really letting emotion through or allowing her volume to change. When she is upset enough that her mask slips, however, her voice tends to get more than a little screechy. ⁕ SCENT: She smells generally clean, the Doctor doesn't much approve of fragrances. Left to her own devices, though, she might seek out body wash and shampoo that smells a little fruity or lightly floral. ⁕ MENTAL INFORMATION: Ris has no mental shields or anything in place, but it is definitely not recommended that anyone looks in there. The abyss might look back into you. ⁕ MAGICAL INFORMATION: Ris does not know of any magical ability. ⚜ OOC ⁕ BACKTAGGING: Absolutely! I might drop your thread if it's been over a week and a half because murdergaming is A Lot, but if you really want to keep up with it, just let me know and I'll definitely pick it back up! ⁕ FOURTHWALLING: No thank you. Like, obviously feel free to make meta-jokes in action tags or whatever, but I'm not comfortable with it from an IC perspective. ⁕ PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Ris is terrified of being touched. This can be worked past with someone she knows and trusts, but expect the initial reaction to any touch, no matter how affectionate, to be either her freezing up and going rigid, trying to duck away, or trying to resort to violence if she can't get the person to stop. This isn't an indicator that you aren't allowed to have your character do the thing! Just don't expect it to immediately end well. ⁕ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Like with touch, Ris will react incredibly poorly to any attempts at physical violence toward her. That said, this is a murdergame, and if someone does a violence at her, then it happens. She's also very likely to do a violence unto others, so it's fair game. ⁕ RELATIONSHIPS: Ris is a bundle of trust issues wrapped in a thick layer of snark hiding a core of yandere. If you're willing to put up with that, by all means, ship with me, I live for it. ⚜ Permissions ⁕ CONTENT WARNINGS: Much of Ris' backstory involves physical and mental abuse, if not outright torture, as well as depictions of gore focusing on eyes.
